I own an acer aspire w/vista. why does window medium player play video beside dvds, but no audio? PLEASE HELP!?

my acer aspire is a 5050-3371. and i attain sound next to everything else except this.

I would assume that the Codec you're using to play the DVD's isn't the correct one.



WMP is like bottom basment when it comes to playing Movies. I'd shift out and get yourself a copy of WinDVD, Nero, or PowerDVD. These companies really solely make software for stuff resembling this and they usually work quite economically.



If you're dead set on using WMP you're going to enjoy to search for the correct DVD codecs online.
