I hold no lid actuator surrounded by my laptop , how come ??!?

how come i own no lid actuator in my laptop , i hold a hp pavillion dv6000 laptop , and i couldn't find it , could someone please tell me where on earth it is , and if there's none , how can the screen detect closing the lid and as a consequence switching itself off ??

Answer:

If nearby is no VISIBLE actuator, it does not mean in that is not one hidden inside the computer.

Most likely it is any built into the latch or integrated within the hinge.
u may need third participant software to get it to in actuality shutdown .. but the settings for the lid are in the power setings below screensaver in display properties ...
Some laptops use a alluring switch. Or the detector may be on the hinge where you can not see it.
draw from a refund
The switch might be contained inside the hinge of the screen.
