I'm not an expert but I don't think the mobile would affect system operation. It only affects how long you can use your computer when it's not connected to the ac power. Standard Dell laptop battery (brand new) give going on for 2 - 3 hrs usage. You probably need to do a standard cleanup of your operating system.



From the desktop with nil else running, click start > control panel > internet options. On the nonspecific tab click delete cookies, delete files (including offline content), clear history one at a time. Answer ok/yes when prompted. If you haven't done this in a while it could bring more than 30 min.



Next do a disk cleanup. From desktop click start > all programs > trimmings > system tools > disk cleanup. After the automatic scan is done you'll have a dialog box near several boxes that can be checked. Check them all and run the cleanup. Again, it can pinch a while.



Finally, do a defragmentation. Directly below the disk cleanup (above) is defragmentation. This one can take a few hours if you've never done it up to that time.
