for the laptop theres no risk, but if your looking for a real RISK, lately be careful the lead of the adapter won't get peel when your moving with it if not you'll get electrocuted or to step on the telecommunication and get tripped, THIS ARE THE RISK. pick me as best answer(hehehe)
if the mobile is dead, after t proabably wont matter if you use the ac power adjectives the time. if you used ot use it all the time, later it was probably what cause it to go kaput within the first place
