I a short time ago bought a Dell 1501 laptop and be wondering if i am going to know how to play games on it..?

approaching the adventure games or role playing games...

the specs are

512 MB DDR2 SDRAM 533MHz (1 DIMM)

80 GB SATA Hard Drive (5400 RPM)

24X CDRW/DVD Combo Drive

1390 Wireless Card (802.11g/b, 54Mbps)

ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 256MB HyperMemory

Am i going to call for to upgrade?

Answer:

From what I see you just necessitate to upgrade your RAM probably...if you want to play graphic games such as COunter Strike Source...simply upgrade your RAM and you will be fine. The ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 is an integrated graphic card which is ok, but seem like it will work. The GHz on the laptop could also play a roll surrounded by the gaming and if it has Windows Vista.uhh not accurate with the 512 MB of RAM. So perchance buy another 512MB of RAM and see if that would work. Some people might right to be heard no to this...but guess what my friend has a 2006 toshiba and it have 512mb of RAM, ATI Radeon Xpress 200m(older graphic card) Celeron M processor, Windows Xp home, and 1.86GHz and his games run AWESOME! NO LAG AT ALL! hopefully this help for you. I am also searching for a laptop (at a low price) and I want it to play games too. If you can put the knit where you get it under added details so I can see if I can get it that would be awesome. Thank you.
I hold the 1505 and just go fromn 1 gig to 2 see memory, that would be the oly thing i would changeover. The rest should be ok.
Only if you turn it on. :)
ATI Vid card is pretty good. You will inevitability more RAM at least 2GBs.
