I Have A hp presario v5000 can anyone put in the picture me how to hook it up to play on my tv?

ive tried to shift to plug s video to rca in,and it simply doesnt seem to work.Aswell ive tried to budge to display settings to adjust this,but it doesnt have anything in attendance like my friends laptop which is much elder but works.Does Any one feel me??

you should be able to connect an svideo organize from the laptop to the svideo input on the TV there should be a setting ON the TV to select input type on my Toshiba you own to tell it to switch to svhs mode also check that you don't enjoy to tell the lappy to output its video to the svhs socket [check lying on the buttons on your keyboard as this characteristic may be under the function key.
Well it depends on what kind of ports you enjoy on your TV if you have a newer TV resembling LCD or anything they have a DVI or VGA input so alls you do it pocket a VGA or DVI calbe hook one end into the TV and the other into your Notebook, but if you dont get these ports it will be a little more difficult.
Use a s-video cable to connect to the S-video port on your notebook and next connect the other end to the TV. Then press Fn + F4 to toggle the display.I hope Fn + F4 is the toggle knob for your notebook. Your screen will be displayed on the TV
