Answer:
reset the router. Login to the router near a wired connection, see if your laptop is human being shown as one of the DHCP Active Ip entries or if it's shown as one of the computers communicating with the router.
If your router is stealthed (the broadcasting of the signature is turned off) or if you changed the security settings on it, the computer may not find it until you update on the computer.
this have happened to my laptop a few times. Unplug everything for a few minutes, and restart everything. Your modem and/or router and/or computer only needs to reboot.
If shutting everything past its sell-by date and then powering it put money on up doesn't help, try repairing the adapter. Click Start --> Run --> ncpa.cpl. That will embark on Network connections. Right click your wireless adapter and click repair. That fixes my Dell Laptop every now and afterwards.
Make sure your laptop adaptor is switched on.Go to Control
Panel and check your connections.Also do a Network Setup.
Finally make sure your Windows firewall is switched sour if your
using another.Mine sometimes comes on.
Try unplugging your router and modem for 5 minutes or so.
Then plug in the modem first consequently the router and wait another minute.
The wireless grating should come into range.
Try this it might work for you.
